Chloé Rae Flowers
I’m Chloé, a tech gremlin who dabbles in programming, 3D printing, and smart home automation (mostly as an excuse to make my life slightly lazier). I write scripts to fix problems I caused, print things I probably don’t need, and spend an unreasonable amount of time arguing with both code and hardware. If something isn’t working, I’ll either fix it, make it worse, or accidentally start a side project trying.

Hi, I’m Chloé Rae Flowers! I’m a proud queer woman (she/her), an extrovert who talks way too much, and someone who thrives on connection and creativity. Whether I’m deep in conversation, working on a project, or just vibing with friends, I love learning, building, and making things happen. Life is too short not to be passionate about the things you love, and I’m here to embrace it all.

When I’m not talking a mile a minute, you can probably find me diving into one of my many hobbies. I have a knack for 3D printing, where I turn ideas into tangible creations, and gardening, because there’s something magical about watching things grow. If I’m not making something, I’m probably reading (romance novels and feminist literature), watching anime and reading manga, or getting lost in a game—whether that’s a strategy game where I flex my tactical skills, a tactical shooter like Valorant, or Smash Bros., where I’ll gladly put my skills to the test. I also love crafting immersive worlds in Dungeons & Dragons, where I get to guide chaotic adventures as a Dungeon Master.

I’ve always been a hands-on problem solver, whether that means writing code, fixing IT issues, or automating parts of my life just because I can. My programming preferences lean towards Python, Java, and C#, where I enjoy developing everything from small utilities to full applications. I have four years of professional IT experience, managing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks.

My 3D printing setup is an Ender 3 v2 with a hardened nozzle, professional firmware, BL Touch, and a dual-drive extruder. I primarily print with OVERTURE PETG, but I also use TPU and PLA+ occasionally, depending on the project.

Our home automation system is a blend of Home Assistant, custom Python scripts (which I’m working on open-sourcing), Z-Wave smart outlets and lights, and OctoPrint for managing my 3D printer remotely. I’m always refining it, adding new integrations, and making everyday tasks smoother with automation.

This website itself is a reflection of my love for automation and development—it’s built using Hugo, with GitHub for version control and Cloudflare Pages for automated deployments, ensuring everything stays seamless and up-to-date.

so, what now?

If you made it this far, congratulations! You’ve survived my about page, and now we’re practically best friends. Honestly, I just appreciate you taking the time to read this. I know I can ramble (a lot), so if you stuck with me through all that, you’re definitely my kind of person.

Oh, and if you’re curious—my taste in music is all over the place. I’m constantly jumping between alternative rock, metalcore, hyperpop, and indie pop, depending on whether I’m working, gaming, or just daydreaming. Some of my favorite artists include Xana, Ashnikko, Fletcher, Spiritbox, Willow, and Glass Animals. Music fuels my creativity, and if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!

If you ever want to talk tech, trade book recommendations, or nerd out over something cool, I’m always down for a chat. Let’s make something awesome together!
